The G11 was an extremely complicated firearm that fired caseless bullets.
The mechanism was so complex and the firearm cost so much that it was ulitmately dropped in favour of the G36 rifle after the reunification of east and west germany in 1990.
The gun could fire 460 RPM on full auto, or 2100 RPM in a three shot burst mode.
