The Beretta 84 is an 81 chambered in .380 ACP. It also comes with a 13-round magazine. The 84 is the most popular Cheetah model in the United States, and, like the 81, exists in 84, 84B, 84BB, 84F and 84FS configurations. Production ceased in 2017, however the series was resurrected in 2023 with the 80X, which is effectively an 84FS with improvements from the X line. The 80X will accept older Beretta 84 magazines and the 80X magazines can be used in most older models, however 80X magazines will not disengage the magazine disconnect safety on some 84 models.
