More model informationLocated to the left of the main staircase on the principal stupa of Jaulian, the “healing buddha” is a unique sculpture with a hole located in the navel. Pilgrims would put their fingers in the navel hole and pray for the ailment of patients. The inscription preserved under the statue shows that it was given by a friar “Budhamitra Dharmanandin”.
