Description: Round globose basket with flat base and rounded sides; coiled on bundle foundation; designs are in dyed bracken fern roots and redbud and consist of column of flower, butterfly, and eagle, all repeated 4 times and alternating with tall flowering plant motif; basket may have originally had a flat, “snap-on” lid, as Lucy Telles wove many baskets of this shape and with similar designs, some of which had accompanying lids.
