In the woods east of Aberlady, East Lothian, stand the ruins of the Carmelite friary of Luffness. The principal surviving feature is a tomb recess containing an effigy and a sarcophagus: Douglas Ledingham has already posted an excellent model of this: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/13th-century-effigy-of-knight-luffness-4374a756b9fa42689db579855ddd56af This model just focusses on the effigy itself. Traditionally it is that of Prior Bickerton, but in fact it is that of a knight of the late 13th or early 14th century. The effigy is very badly weathered, and almost all of the original surface has been lost: however, it shows a knight clad in mail armour, what would have been a mail cof over his head, a long surcoat coming down to his knees, a large heater shaped shield on his left arm, and the remains of a sword held upright in his right hand. 3D model from photos generated with photogrammetry software 3DF Zephyr v6.010 processing 233 images
