More model information

My first handgun. Also, my first “finished” project in Substance Painter.

The M1911 is a classic among handguns, which is why I chose it as my first handgun to model. Its relatively simple shapes and classic status made it a great choice for a first.

There are some inaccuracies here and there on both the model and texture. As it was my first handgun, it was pretty difficult to keep the poly count relatively low while maintaining a good-looking model. Hopefully, the next gun I make will be much better in that department. This is also my first time really using SP, and it was way more accessible than I thought. I’ll be attempting to use SP for ongoing projects, but I might still go back to my old program every once in a while. Thanks.
