More model informationMadama Lucrezia is one of the five “talking statues” of Rome. “Pasquinades” - satirical poems in the Roman dialect that criticized or ridiculed the Pope and the government - were posted beside the statues.
The statue itself is a colossal Roman bust near the Palazzo Venezia, in Piazza di San Marco in Rome, Italy. The surface is so weathered that the features of the face have been all but worn away.
