Mami Wata figure from the Mami Wata Altar in the SOUL OF AFRICA Museum.

This altar was made with the consent of Sossa Guedehoungue built over 7 years Dotou in Benin. Sossa Guedehoungue was one of the most powerful Vodou priests in Benin. The altar came to Essen in Germany in 1999 and was activated here by Vodoun priests.
