Maria Kalergis-Muchanow była polską pianistą i mecenaską sztuki. Była córką Fryderyka Karola Nesselrode i Tekli Nałęcz-Górskiej. Wychowywała się w domu wpływowego krewnego w Petersburgu, gdzie otrzymała staranne wykształcenie i rozwijała talent muzyczny. Była wybitną mecenaską sztuki: wspierała Moniuszkę, przyczyniła się do powstania Instytutu Muzycznego i współtworzyła Towarzystwo Muzyczne w Warszawie.

Maria Kalergis-Muchanow was a Polish pianist and patron of the arts. She was the daughter of Fryderyk Karol Nesselrode and Tekla Nałęcz-Górska. She was raised in the household of an influential relative in St Petersburg, where she received a thorough education and developed her musical talent. An outstanding patron of culture, she supported Stanisław Moniuszko, contributed to the establishment of the Institute of Music and co-founded the Warsaw Music Society.
