For the Kobolds of Zul the need for an ‘cavalry’ tank was quite different than that of other nations:
•The mountainous terrain to the east & wide open deserts to west necessitated a vehicle with a powerful engine, in this case a 300hp petrol engine. This was able to drive the vehicle at 50kph on paved terrain. •It’s common enemies, the goblins to the east, were occasionally supplied with foreign anti-tank guns. Sloped 100mm-equivalent frontal armor protected the crew against any and all guns the goblins may’ve had. •The tank had a novel crew and equipment layout. The driver was placed in the rear in an elevated cupola. Gunner, loader, and commander were seated in the turret at the front. •Crew were laid out with a gunner-loader at the front in the turret, driver to the rear right and commander rear-left. •Armed with a 50mm gun for both tanks and fortifications. Gun was capable of -7.7°/+44°. Turrets rotated 175°.
