More model informationThe 65 ft tug Mary Alice B. was built in Duluth, Minnesota in 1931 as the Quintus. It changed owners and names multiple times in its 44 year career. In 1975 after working on the salvage of the Monrovia near Alpena it was being towed home when it started leaking. The towing tug tried to pump her out but eventually had to let the tug settle to the bottom. Today the Mary Alice B. sits upright and intact in 92 ft of water in Lake Huron in the Sanilac Shores Shipwreck Preserve near Port Sanilac, Michigan. The model was created from 1,148 - 6270 x 4480 pixel RAW images color corrected to .jpg images for processing.
