Massacre of the Innocents (Zadar, Croatia)3D Model
First composition of the medieval altar rail from Archaeological Museum in Zadar, scanned with Artec Eva handheld 3D scanner. This composition represents king Herod the Great, king of Judea, orders the execution of all male children two years old and under in the vicinity of Bethlehem. Next to him is an executioner holding a child upside down and two mothers. The scene of two mothers (one twiching her hair) is borrowed from Judgement of Solomon story.
Altar rail is currenlty part of the permanent exibitoion of the Archaeological Museum in Zadar, where it was scanned with Artec Eva handheld 3D scanner. Collected scanns were processed in Artec Studio.
