This mastodon bone was 3D scanned at the Virginia Museum of Natural History on June 21, 2018 using a Go!Scan 50. The exact provenance of the bone is unknown but some paleontologists suggest that it resembles remains recovered from Edisto Beach, South Carolina. Museum specimen 122205.
