This cabin, named after Mrs. McGuffie was used for housing while working on the Sally Ann Mine, later named McGuffie Mine, and now called Rose Mining.

Mrs. McGuffie was one of the owners of several mines in the surrounding areas. 1946 Mrs. McGuffie provided detailed information about the miner’s cabin and its amenities. Where she stated that this treasure cost was $1000.
