Mostly experimental, just to see how things would work.
Two versions: One sends the mud down first, the other sends it up first. In both versions the clay ends up on the same level as where you put in the dirt. Just stand on the blue block, aim for the top of the redstone torch, and go.
Both versions also have some key characteristics: * Checkerboard floor indicates operation level (design can be altered, of course) * White is the tape machine, turning mud into clay over multiple levels * Green system makes the mud * Yellow sends the mud to a different y-level * Orange sends the mud to the back of the tape machine * Red sends the mud into the tape machine * The top dispenser and hopper are completely filled with water bottles (total of 14) * The bottom dispenser is completely filled with empty bottles (9 full stacks) * The bottom hopper is almost completely filled with empty bottles (about 4.5 stacks)
Also, both models allow for an exchange and repositioning of modules, max push distance notwithstanding.
