Medieval Crossbow

A medieval crossbow with a bolt and the lever to pull back the string.

I modeled this in maya and textured it in substance painter.

Alot of the time in this piece was in the texturing and trying to get the wood to feel real and worn down from repeated use.

Any and all feedback is welcome.

The design of the crossbow was based on a concept by Joseph Harford.
