This domed room is the Memorial Hall inside the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in Odense, Denmark. Built in 1929 as part of an extension to the museum, eight frescoes align the walls and are illustrations of Hans Christian Andersen’s life. The frescoes were painted by the Danish artist Larsen Stevns (1864 -1941) and depict the writer’s life as found in Andersen’s autobiography The Fairytale of My Life.
