Menhir de la Tremblais

Menhir de la Tremblais stands alone in a small copse near the village of Saint-Samson-sur-Rance, near Dinan, Brittany. It is over 6m in length and leans at just over a 45 degree angle.

The stone is adorned with numerous motifs common to the Neolithic, including crosses and loops. Try the ‘Matcap’ view to see these details more easily, or check out the ‘?’ menu to learn how to manipulate the lighting.

The site was recorded as part of the Common Cultural Connections project in January 2016 using a UAV and hand held DSLRs for high resolution imagery.
