MFV Contessa Viv, Fishing Vessel.
Shipwreck off the west coast of Ireland in Bantry Bay, Co.Cork, in the West Entrance to Berehaven, in Piper Sound, between Ardnakinna Point and Naglas Point on Bere Island, approximately 310m east of The Pipers.
Known wreck the Contessa Viv, NMS number W09561. It was a British fishing trawler which ran aground on the 1st of August 1986. The wreck is still intact with a little to no debris field around it. It lies on its starboard side with its bow facing in a NW direction. The Mast and wheel house are still clearly visible with very little weathering on the wreck. UKHO Wreck ID 11373
