More model informationThe 185 ft early wooden propeller Milwaukee was built in 1852 and sank in a collision with schooner Tiffany off Beaver Island in Lake Michigan in 1859 while carrying a cargo of wheat and flour. Both vessels sank in close proximity to each other. The Milwaukee’s engine and boiler were salvaged in 1874 doing much damage to the shipwreck. The model was created from 2,409 50 megapixel images shot by Brian Bosveld on a 30 minute DPV dive. The model was also processed by Brian Bosveld.
