Late Period (Probably 26th Dynasty) A miniature Cuboid/Block Statue, which are among the most common types of ancient egyptian private funerary statues. However, such miniature versions are very rare (Two in bronze in the Louvre, one in the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden) but also known in other statue types from the era. This one features an eyelet on the back-pillar so it can be worn as an amulet. The style of the wig points to a 26th Dynasty origin.
