An seventeenth-century weight for the town mining scales, once located in the market square in Olkusz. The scales were used for weighing ore and smelted metal to calculate tax due to the Crown Treasury.

The exhibit was donated to the Antoni Minkiewicz Regional Museum in Olkusz in 1946 by the engineer Bronisław Czernicki, the then president of the Polish Sightseeing Society in Olkusz.
