Hey! So since you are dabbling in rigging and animation as well, I figured I'd point out that the skinning/weight painting can be cleaned up a bit more at the base of the cat's tail :3 It looks like you need more weight painted on the bottom of the base of the tail and less weight on its lower back towards the top part of the base of the tail.
Also when a cat walks, there's more offset in the leg movements. Right now, your animation looks like its right limbs and left limbs are raising and touching the ground at the same rate as like a pacing gait, but the speed of your animation is more like the cat should be walking. If you look at a reference video like this one: youtube.com/watch?v=wQsmsr0oR6c (which also has a good description listed), and slow the video speed down to around .5 or .25, the walk gait is one foot off the ground at a time. If you are intending a walk gait, the walk should be more of a 4 beat gait, whereas what you have right now is a slow 2 beat gait. If you choose to have a pacing gait animation, I recommend speeding up the animation a bit more, but if you want a walk cycle, I recommend you change into a 4 beat gait. :3
