19th-century memorial stone inserted into south wall of Monasteroris Church when the interior of the church ruins were converted into the private burial place of the Clarke family of Ballybrittan Castle (OF011-057----). The stone tablet above the doorway into the family vault was dedicated to Marianne Clarke (nee Newton), only child of Lieutenant Newton and wife of Henry Clarke of Ballybrittan Castle who died on the 23rd day of January 1848, aged 33 years old.
