Model animated following these steps:

  1. Download the model

    ➤ STL file available from printables.com

  2. Simulation with SolidWorks

    • STL model imported as volumic body
    • Finite Element Analysis: Deformation modeled with SolidWorks Simulation
    • Export underformed and deformed models as VRML (.wrl)
  3. In Blender

    • Import > X3D Extensible 3D (.x3d/.wrl)
    • Animation with Shape Keys
  4. In Sketchfab

    • Import Blender file (.blend)
    • Model adjustment (rendering)
