Monte Albán, Carved Stone Tenon, Ballcourt Area3D Model
This carved stone (JP-2) is a damaged ballcourt marker depicting a Fire Serpent. Originally, the stone would have been mounted horizontally (as a tenon) and probably set within one of the upper walls at the mid-line of the ballcourt. Today, the stone is mounted vertically in an area just outside the southwest cornerof the ballcourt.
