More model information

Monte Albán is located in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca (“wah-hah-kah”). The site was established around 500 BCE and is recognized as one of Mexico’s first cities. The site covers a series of hilltops lying within the broad Valley of Oaxaca. The Main Plaza (seen here) was the civic-ceremonial heart of Monte Albán, consisting of a large rectangular space that was surrounded by monumental structures.

This is a low resolution model of the part of the archaeological site of Monte Albán that is open to the public. You should be able to local the other models on this page within this larger model.
