Montpelier South Kitchen (S Half)

Located at James Madison’s Montpelier in Orange, VA this foundation was excavated in the early 1990s and in 2016. When reconstructed the building will be interpreted as a kitchen occupied and used by James Madison’s mother’s enslaved cooks. This model is a higher quality view of the foundation’s south half.
