Morrigan Aensland 3D fanart. I started this project a couple years ago and worked on it during breaks. What was supposed to be a simple sculp turned into a game ready model.

I tried to make this model as economic as possible regarding its poly count (roughly 40k triangles) and also wanted to improve my PBR texturing techniques for skin, cloth, and hair materials. Every detail and texture is made from scratch, hand painted and sculpted with a bit of photocomposition for the skin. Hair cards baked in Xgen. Skeleton and rig made in Maya with the usual fancy stuff: IK/FK switches, corrective blendhsapes (tighs, shoulder, armpits, ect.) eye and eyelid follow control, blink control, phonemes, and a mix of regular and dynamic joints for the fur and hair.

Because I didn’t want a barebones presentation I included a little scenery reminiscing her castle stage from Darkstalkers. I also recreated her idle animation here :)

Download file also includes T-pose .fbx with skeleton, textures and Maya file with full rig.
