More model informationThis artifact is a nail, and is made of metal. It has rusted alot, being left in fort vancouver for over 150 years. I think this artifact is a nail because it’s in the basic shape of a nail. The nail was most likely used for carpentry and possibly blacksmithing. The way the nail was probably used was by getting a hammer and hitting the nail into the wood or metal. The reason why it could be meaningful to the owner is because it’s the thing that keeps all of their work together. It’s a piece of technology because people made it for a simple and specific use, which is keeping wood/metal together without using items such as rope.
