I live near the mountains and every spring when the snow melts and rain comes down, tiny mountain streams can turn into destructive rivers that flood and ruin the homes at the feet of the mountains. For years small flood dams in the various little canyons in the foothills have stood as constant guardians against nature’s annual water cycle and it potential for a devestating collision with civilization. This model is a photogrammetry scan of my house and of one of the several flood dams in the canyons near my house. Click through the annotations for a guided tour of this model.
