More model informationSection of a broken medieval grave-slab (L 0.89m x Wth c. 0.4m x T D 0.15m) lying on the floor of the chancel of the Franciscan friary ruins (TN020-037002-) in the historic town of Nenagh (TN020-037----). It has been suggested that this fragment represents the shaft of the broken grave-slab decorated with a raised floriated cross-head located to the east. This fragment consists of the dexter or right-hand side of the graveslab and is decorated with a raised cross-shaft and knop which has been interpreted as located at the lower end of the shaft close to the junction with the base of the cross. The sinister or left-hand side as well as the lower portion of the graveslab are missing.
