More model informationThis is a japanese netsuke, that got to germany through a traveller who has been living in Leipzig in the mid 19th century. It resembles an old asian saga of an elephant and five blind man that had to touch the elephant to find out how it looks and describe their findings to a wise man. As any of them might just touch one part of the elefant they fail miserably, as we do if we want to comprehend how everything around us connects.
This is a photogrammetry scan, done with a Lumix G9 and a Olympus 60mm Macro.
