The members of “Duikteam Zeester” are all experienced divers exploring the northern waters above the Dutch Isles. They are also passionate researchers and have identified several wrecks of submarines such as the HMS E3, HMS E5, HMS E10, HMS E16, HMS E26, HMS E47 and the HMS Undine (N48). Next to the war related wrecks they investigated and found recent ships such as the HD108 which disappeared in 1945. This information helps to bring closure to the families of the missing. This conningtower is from yet another missing submarine “The Starfish” (19S) which disappeared in january 1940. The footage of the actual submarine wasn’t extensive enough to make a model.
