Northumberland (#1000022633, Kemiönsaari, 2023)3D Model

The wreck is likely Northumberland, built in Whitby, England in late 1800’s. It sank 17.5.1871 with coal cargo on its way to Kronstadt, Russia. The wreck is 26 m long and it lies in 33 m depth in open sea, SW of Morgonlandet island in Kemiönsaari, Finland. The lower part of sternmast is still standing, but the foremast seems to be cut loose.
The wreck is also know with names “Jukka-wreck” (it was found by Jukka Sarvisto in 2011) and “Morgonlandet South-West” (it lies SW to Morgonlandet island).
The Finnish Heritage Agency (FHA) id for this wreck is 1000022633.
The model is based on video material shot in one dive in November 2023.
