このモデルで示しているのは脳がある空間である「脳函」であり、骨の形を転写したものである（エンドキャスト）。人のそれと比べ骨自体に脳の形が非常に強く表れている。骨の厚みと側頭筋の付着を確保しつつ、できるだけ脳容量を拡大しているようにみえる。

This model is a “Brain case,” which is the space in which the brain is located, and is a transcription of the shape of the bone. Compared to that of humans, the shape of the brain appears very strongly in the bone itself. It seems that the brain capacity is expanded as much as possible while ensuring the thickness of the bone and the attachment of the temporalis muscle.
