More model informationThe Old Synagogue in Wiesbaden was the largest synagogue in the city. It was built in the years 1863-69 (architect Philipp Hoffmann, 1806-1889) and was set on fire and destroyed on November 10, 1938 during the Reichspogromnacht. The synagogue was located in Wiesbaden’s Michelsberg district, on the edge of the city center. The model was created for AR use on site at the “Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Wiesbaden”, VR use at the Jewish Community Center, and on https://gesher.de.
