Been trying to push myself to create more complex hard surface models, so I spent the last few days working on this, a P08 Luger. An absolute classic of the World Wars, and a revolutionary design in firearms history.
Not 100% accurate or specific to any single Luger variant, I picked little pieces of aesethics from different models that I liked, but most of the details are there, functional controls are there, and the important silhouettes are all there.
I did design the model with “game ready” requirements in mind, specifically some of the requirements H3VR suggestions for model donations. Poly count is ~19k (poly count here is doubled because of the pair of Lugers on display). 4k PBR Metal-Rough texture sets.
