Palmas Island (MoNa Ilhas Cagarras)

Part of the Cagarras Islands Natural Monument, this island aligns with Cagarra Island parallel to the coast and is easily recognized from Ipanema Beach by the large concentration of jerivá palm trees (Syagrus romanzoffiana), which give the island its name.
