Panamericansaurus Schroederii
Sauropod Titanosauridae from the Allen Formation (Campanian, 70 my), Neuquén province, Argentina. It is the first record of a dinosaur at Allen Formation in Neuquen province.
This holotype (MUCPv-417) has 5 caudal vertebras, 1 sacral vertebra, left humerus (3d model), 2 hemal arches and fragments of ribs.
This fossil has been found in the Schroeder vineyard when the building was under construction. So schroeder family decide use Saurus as the brand of their wines and in the logo has a sauropod dinosaur.
Panamericansaurus means lizard of Panamerican Energy, Oil company that helped a lot to Proyecto Dino.
