More model informationAlerce Costero National Park was founded in 2010 as part of the National System of State Protected Natural Areas, outstanding for its role in the protection of endemic flora and fauna species. It is made up of more than 24,000 hectares, dominated by evergreen forests, in the majority dominates by the Alerce (larch), one of the longest living tree species on the planet and symbol of this park located in the area of Los Ríos, in the south of Chile.
