3D Model

Pax6 is a DNA-binding protein which plays a key role in eye development. Pax6 is part of a larger family of Pax proteins which all share a common ‘paired’ DNA binding domain. This 3D model shows Pax6 and its associated DNA, and highlights some key features which help control its binding to DNA.
