Az 1927-ben, Pécsett előkerült honfoglalás kori sisak nemcsak Magyarországon, de az egész Kárpát-medencében egyedülálló leletnek számít, napjainkban pedig egy kisebb világhírnek örvend. A 9–12. századi európai sisakokat kutató David Stříbrný további vizsgálatokat végzett a tárgyon, megtekinthető itt: Projekt Forlǫg. A projekt megvalósításában közreműködött Mestellér János a Foedus Orientalis Kulturális Egyesület elnöke valamint Dr. Haramza Márk történész (JPM, Régészeti Osztály). The 10th century helmet found in Pécs in 1927 is a unique find not only in Hungary, but in the entire Carpathian Basin, and today it enjoys a small world fame. David Stříbrný, a researcher of 9th–12th century European helmets, has carried out further research on the find, the results can be viewed here: Forlǫg website. János Mestellér, president of the Foedus Orientalis Cultural Association, and Dr. Márk Haramza, historian (JPM, Department of Archeology) also contributed to the implementation of the project.
