Pedodontic Space-Retainer

Intra-oral scan of the pedodontic patient was done by Dental Wings DWIO intra-oral scanner. The scan data was sent to production-center via DWOSconnect. DWOS™ PFW module from Dental Wings was used to design the digital space-retainer. (PFW module allows 100% free-form flexibility in the CAD design of complex dental parts.) Finally for DMLS production, M100 from EOS GmbH was used to produce the space-retainer in CoCr. The post-process of the DMLS part was limited to the manual polish of the space-retainer surfaces. To ensure precise fit, digital model of the case was printed with DWS 028D.
