Photogrammetry is a technique which consists of taking measurements in a scene, using the parallax obtained between images acquired from different points of view. Copying human stereoscopic vision, she has long exploited it to reconstruct the relief of the scene from this difference in points of view. Currently, it increasingly uses correlation calculations between now digital images (digital photogrammetry). This technique is entirely based on rigorous modeling of the geometry of images and their acquisition in order to reconstruct an exact 3D copy of reality. Drone photogrammetry involves programming a drone to shoot the subject and then generating a 3D model from the photos. This process is very fast (hundreds of m2 in a few minutes) and precise (a few centimeters). It relies on specialized equipment (drones and software), which is very easy to use after a few days of familiarization.
