This is a very low resolution model of a Digital Outcrop Model (DOM) representing the outcrop D.2 analyzed in Panara et al. (2022) and located on the western side of Pian della Gardosa, at coordinates 42°52‘06.7”N 13°15‘54.2”E (Central Apennines, Italy). The original model has a resolution of ca. 1cm and was developed using ca. 450 pictures captured by a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone with a 48Mpixel camera. This outcrop was analyzed in because it is far away from the Mt.Vettore Faults main segments and the axial plane of the Mt. Sibillini thrust anticline. Therefore, comparing it with other outcrop as Scoglio dell’Aquila or Pizzo del Diavolo it is possible to understand the relationship between fracture network and the geological structures present in the area.
