More model informationI’ve recently been teaching myself to create assets using the new techniques of todays gaming techology. I would normally create an asset using a certain amount of polys and then would throw them in to quixel to do my thing. However, I decided to try out the new method of backing high poly models to low poly models using 3D Studio Max and Quixel Suite 2. I wanted to start on a singular asset to try out this new method so that I could see the full potential in this high detailed asset, before creating a room full. I decided to model a ‘Piano’ based around the era of 1940-170s.
