Pinsdorfichnus abeli (NHMW-Geo 2022/0048/0001)3D Model
Traces of an unknown animal that rummaged through the deep sea mud for food. These huge traces are only known from a single locality in Upper Austria. In many cases, the animals, which produced traces in the deep sea sediment are unknown. The traces are dated 70 million years old (Cretaceous).
The traces are now on display in the newly designed Hall 6 of the NHM Vienna.
