The discovery of a fifteenth-century ‘book of estimes’ (a kind of medieval census book) in my city, Tàrrega, allowed to establish the location of all the medieval houses within the city walls, who lived where and what did they do for a living. After two years of research a three volume book has been published, including not only the translation of the original, but also ortophotos of all the streets and squares of that period using photogrammetry. The project includes 28 streets and more than 70000 photos. You can find an example below.
