Prehistoric Copper Mine - Bauernzeche (Tyrol)

This model shows a small part of the huge prehistoric copper mine “Bauernzeche” located at Großkogel in the Lower Inn Valley (Tyrol/Austria). The characteristic dome-shaped cavities derive from the use of the fire-setting technique. To determine the age of this part of the mine in June 2017 an archaeological excavation was conducted by the research center HiMAT (University of Innsbruck). Compressed SFM-Model (generated from 1000 DSLR pictures).

This model shows an other part of Bauernzeche with impressive traces of firesetting.
